Affiliate Marketing
I have been really trying to hit up affiliate marketing these last few weeks as well as working on some guides. Affiliate marketing was actually the first system I used to make money online but it never took off in terms of scaling it up to where we wanted it to be. We never took it seriously because making money with adsense was a lot easier. We put up ads on our sites and our visitors decided to click on it or not. We did not have to worry about “getting the sale” and did not have this feeling of “forcing” these offers and products onto our users. We tried many affiliate networks but most of them cater to US and Canada. So we can only push them on a few of our sites. We have also been experimenting on making better landing pages with interactivity to get users to click on the offers themselves. Most of these affiliate networks now have conversion tracking which helps this trail and error process. But this is really tedious and a lot of motivation helps. I know for a fact that top affiliates can make up to $5000 a day easily. After these few weeks we have seen just how much more profitable affiliate marketing is compared to placing adsense on a site. It does require more trail and errors though.

May we see some of your best-in-class implementations of affiliate ads?
Hey guys,
Are you actually designing your own landing pages and writing your own copy, or do you outsource?
Fred
Excellent!
Yeah there are affiliates who bring in 6 figure income from free marketing techniques! I’m personally seeing amazing results. I thought about adsense, and I might still put it on my websites, but the bulk of my income comes from affiliate marketing.
If you sign up with CJ.com you can get those professional banners, like I signed up with CJ, and that’s who I got my ebay banner. CJ is the affiliate network of the popular Fortune 500 companies “ebay, amazon, buy.com, circuit city, etc.” you should try them as well. clickbank sells inforproducts, but you have to be careful, because they have a lot of crap products.
You guys made $200,000 with adsense, and that’s pretty amazing.
I think you guys should use other adsense alternatives, and affiliate marketing on your website, and combine those methods. Integrate it in your website professionally so it won’t seem so overloaded. You can actually create a “niche store” with commission junction. So you should take that into consideration as well.
The beauty of affiliate marketing is that, you can advertise products through e-mail campaigns by providing helpful content on your e-mails and providing affiliate links that compliment your e-mail informmation, which is something you can’t do with adsense, or adsense alternatives.

have enjoyed your site. do you have any thoughts on the best affiliate marketing opportunities for new or lower volume blogs. my personal finance and investing blog http://www.betachaser.com has been growing in popularity and i am trying to decide what the future looks like for this blog.
We’ve mainly been approaching affiliate marketing through trial and error. An important factor is to know your users and vistors and taylor your offers accordingly. The bigger your site and the more traffic you have, the easier it is to test different offers. The same goes for landing pages and cpc campaigns. You need to try and test. The larger your bankroll, the easier it is.
Nice job guys for trying. Really liked the honesty of this site. Never surrender, Never give Up.
